Pirate Party Favors

As with all party favors for children, creating the treat is lots of fun! If you are going to handmake the favors, here are a few ideas to get you started:

Packaging the favor - for the perfect pirate treasure, get little boxes in black or brown to replicate a treasure chest. You can actually find/buy little treasure chest boxes if you have the time. Another option, small drawstring bags. You can then stamp a Skull&Crossbones or "X" for "marks the spot" on the front.

Inside the treasure chest - Chocolate gold coins, mini-telescope (kalidescope if necessary), Pirate eye patch, Pirate figures (same size as little green Army men), Pirate stickers, Skull&Crossbone pencils, little treasure map.

Specific Pirate themed favors - There are specific pirate-themed stories/movies that your little one might want to replicate. A few that come to mind are: Peter Pan, Pirates of the Carribean, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and Muppet Treasure Island.
